Many followers of the fashion world will know this famous quote from Coco Chanel, and the looks at London Fashion Week, which took place from September 16 to 20, definitely lived up to Chanel’s expectations.
While the event allows designers to showcase the clothes they will be selling next year, it’s also an opportunity for models and guests alike to have fun and stand out.

21. Designer Gareth Pugh created this unusual optical illusion for his show on September 19, which eclipses the model's entire upper body.
20. This colourful jacket was created by British designer Mini Wade and appeared on the catwalk on September 17. It was paired with some oversized earrings.
19. These sky-high, lacy platform shoes were seen at the Preen by Thornton Bregazzi show on September 18.
